Our values

The traits and adjectives that MKO Partners subscribes to are "can-do, commercial, candid, caring, innovative, quality driven, passionate and positive".

The Code of Ethics issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland sets out the Fundamental Principles which must be complied with by Chartered Accountants.  MKO Partners is not only guided by the terms of the Fundamental Principles but also strives to operate by the spirit of the Code.

The Fundamental Principles are as follows:

• Integrity - A member should behave with integrity in all professional and business relationships;
• Objectivity - A member should strive for objectivity in all business and professional judgements;
• Competence - A member should undertake work only where he/she has the necessary competence required to carry out that work;
• Confidentiality - A member should respect the confidentiality of information acquired as a result of professional and business relationships and should not disclose any such information to third parties without proper and specific authority unless there is a legal or professional right or duty to disclose; and
• Professional Behaviour - A professional accountant should comply with relevant laws and regulations and should avoid any action that discredits the profession.
