Our community

Since its establishment, MKO Partners has maintained an internal culture of caring and a commitment from all of its people to support the community.

This philosophy continues through:

  • Our peoples’ contributions to service and community agencies and organisations; and
  • The active volunteer work of MKO Partners' employees in the communities we serve.

As well as respecting and supporting each of the personal interests of the team members, MKO Partners is involved, at firm level, in causes that we believe are part of our corporate social responsibility.

Educational development

The Firm is committed to supporting ‘Junior Achievement Ireland’.  Junior Achievement is part of a worldwide organisation reaching out to 9.3 million young people each year.  It was established in Ireland in 1995 and since then has built up a strong demand from schools throughout the country and created successful partnerships with 150 leading organisations.  Junior Achievement is helping to create a culture of enterprise within the education system. Programmes begin at primary school level, teaching children how they can impact the world around them as individuals, workers and consumers and continue through to secondary school, right up to age 18, preparing students for their future careers.

All Junior Achievement programmes are taught by business volunteers recruited from supporting organisations and are fully trained before they commence their programme.

Since 2007, MKO Partners business volunteers have taught programmes to over 200 students in local schools. Feedback has been incredibly positive. Principals of the schools involved have commented on the professionalism displayed by our volunteers saying they had a significant impact on the students and inspired the students regarding their own career decisions.

Our Team

Staff members also support various personal interests including Benevolent Funds, Past Pupil Unions and local community causes. The Firm supports personal involvement in extracurricular activities and promotes use of the Firms resources to assist in doing a Professional job for any committee or cause.
