The Farmleigh Fellowship, founded in 2009 following the Global Irish Economic Forum, is a one year work-study scholarship programme for young Irish professionals seeking a career in international business in one of the world's fastest growing regions.  The programme aims to bring talented young Irish professionals to Asia to help forge links between the diverse Asian marketplace and Ireland.

James Coyle, 2013 Farmleigh Fellow who is sponsored by MKO Partners, travelled to Singapore in April to commence a 3 month university placement at one of Asia’s top business schools; Nanyang Business School.  James is taking modules from Nanyang Business School’s MBA programme providing him with the best current practices for doing business in Asia.  This follows a 3 month university placement in University College Cork from January to March 2013.   Upon completion of his studies in Nanyang Business School, James will undertake a 6 month business project for MKO Partners in Singapore.

MKO Partners’ sponsorship of the Farmleigh Fellowship programme is complimentary to the Firm’s existing business links with Asian companies operating across the aviation and property sectors.  Please click here for recent media coverage of the Farmleigh Fellowship programme.
