Training - MKO Academy

MKO Partners has a world class focus on personal growth and development.  We recognise that our people and our skills will create our future and our approach to education and training reflects this.  Through the MKO Academy, we are committed to providing a comprehensive range of competency development and business and technical training throughout the year which includes:

• Monthly in-house learning afternoons;
• Exam and study practice sessions (Frank Keane is an FAE lecturer);
• Full day internal departmental technical training sessions;
• Offsite training day in March; and
• 3 day residential training course in October. Our residential training was carried out this year in the Seafield Hotel, County Wexford (www.seafieldhotel.com). 

The Firm places a strong emphasis on academic excellence.  In 2011, all four FAE candidates passed their FAE’s on their first sitting.  As a result, the firm achieved a 100% exam pass rate in 2011 including a member of our team who achieved 2nd place in Ireland in a final exam.

The Firm is also the first in Ireland to implement the prestigious Microsoft Office Training at all levels across the primary Office tools.

Development

Through the Firm's "Career Development Framework" you will manage your own development and learn a lot more about what we call "The Art of Practice". The development framework will require post engagement reviews in addition to 6 monthly self-appraisal meetings and career planning sessions with senior management.
